“La conférence 2016 du master 203 avait traité du risque de liquidité dans les classes d’actifs traditionnelles.
Cette année, le comité organisateur voudrait recueillir l’avis d’expert sur les actifs qui sont, de nature, illiquides. Ces actifs sont des projets d’infrastructure, des plateformes pétrolières, etc. Cette classe d’actif autrefois réservée aux investisseurs hautement spécialisés attire aujourd’hui des investisseurs traditionnels comme des fonds de pensions ou des assureurs. Ces investisseurs faisant face à des rendements historiquement bas sur les marchés obligataires se tournent vers les actifs illiquides à la quête de rendements plus élevés.”

Pedro Antonio ARIAS
Global Head of Real & Alternatives Assets, Amundi
Pedro Antonio Arias joined Amundi in 2013 to manage the alternative assets business line. Today the Platform of Alternative and Real Assets (PARA) covers Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Private Debt.
He was previously Deputy CEO in charge of international development and real estate at the Casino group, the French retail Group. He served as board member of Casino’s major subsidiaries in Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Thailand, Hong-Kong and Vietnam.
Pedro Antonio started his career in a law firm before moving to corporate and investment banking in various leading institutions. Pedro Antonio was notably involved in mergers and acquisitions across Europe and Latin America and eventually in co-head of the restructuring practice at Rothschild & Cie for Europe.
Pedro graduated from ESSEC business school and Paris-Descartes University (Law degree).

Olivier RENAULT
Head of European Financial Institutions Solutions, Citi
Olivier is Head of Financial Institution Solutions for the EMEA region at Citi, with a focus on balance sheet optimization and strategic asset allocation and hedging for insurance companies, banks, and pension funds. He is also responsible for sales of solutions to European institutional clients. Prior to joining Citi in April 2015, he was a Structuring & Advisory Manager at StormHarbour, a financial institutions advisory firm focused on regulatory capital and balance sheet optimization, and completed multiple securitization and asset sales transactions.
Between 2004 and 2009, Olivier worked for Citigroup, initially in structured credit strategy Europe, then in the credit derivatives structuring team, working on regulatory transactions, risk transfer and balance sheet optimization. Olivier started his career as a lecturer at the London School of Economics where he taught derivatives and financial risks. He then worked for Standard & Poor’s Risk Solutions where he was in charge of portfolio modeling projects and correlation research.
Olivier holds a Ph.D. in quantitative finance from the University of Louvain and a Master’s degree from the University of Warwick. He is the author of numerous published articles and a book on credit risk and derivative modeling.
